From the DRHS Drama Club Constitution
The DRHS Drama Club is a group dedicated to the fine art of performance theatre. We meet every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Little Theatre at 6:30 until 8:30. Our goal is to produce quality shows where the audience can have a true live performance experience. We produce at least four plays a year, typically a musical to begin the season and to end the UIL One Act PLay production is taken to competition. Members of the DRHS Drama Club find that working so closely, as a troupe does, we all become close friends and know each other well. We try to bring cakes monthly for members birthdays and celebrate holidays and other festivities together at meetings. Our club is open to all students of DRHS grades 9-12 and to all honorary members, staff that wish to participate and any members or alumni of the ITS #1664.
